MIRANDA BARRETT
Executive Director (Washington DC, U.S.)
As Executive Director, Miranda Barrett is focused on ensuring members around the world consistently find value in the Global One community. She brings a deep background in membership organizations, community building, and entrepreneurship, including 10 years with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and five years running her own business. Based in the Washington DC area, Miranda has traveled to more than 70 countries, leading events and conferences—and occasionally fitting in a vacation with her family. When she’s not on a plane, she enjoys hiking, camping, long distance running, and learning the banjo.
AASTHA NARANG
Chapter Manager (Bangalore, India)
Aastha Narang brings a blend of hospitality, education, and leadership development to the chapter. Raised in Kolkata and trained in hospitality, she worked with leading hotel brands before taking her career to Hong Kong, to run education and talent programs at Hotel ICON and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Along the way, she’s stayed deeply connected to community impact work, particularly around women’s empowerment.
Based in Bangalore, Aastha has been with YPO Global One for more than seven years and is studying AI for Business Leaders at IIM Calcutta. She loves building community, curating experiences that matter, and connecting people in ways that last. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, travel, learning the keyboard, and keeping up with her 8-year-old—convinced that a good life is a little busy and full of stories.
PANIKA SHAKYA
Chapter Manager (Kathmandu, Nepal)
With a background in business administration and an MBA, Panika Shakya brings structure, clarity, and a relentlessly can-do attitude to the Global One team. She genuinely loves solving problems—especially when it means finding smart, practical solutions for members—and is never happier than when untangling a challenge (preferably with a very good spreadsheet). Panika began her YPO journey with YPO Nepal before joining the Global One team in late 2025. Outside of work, she’s a devoted foodie who loves travel, discovering new cultures, and spending time with her family—and her cats and dogs.
