Yes, Global One is an official chapter of YPO. Unlike most chapters, we are not gathered around a specific geography. G1 members are full members of YPO, with access to all YPO benefits and events.

For new members, requirements to join G1 mirror the requirements to join YPO. You may find details here.

Existing members of YPO may transfer into G1 at any point in their membership, as Global One is an Integrated chapter.

Global one is a community of engaged members who value connecting around the world. Recognizing our global reach, there are no set requirements for event attendance.

Forum is the cornerstone of the membership experience in YPO. All G1 members are asked to participate in a forum, whether through this chapter or another.

The G1 community is truly global, across 30+ countries. About 70% of the membership is in the U.S., with concentrations on the east and west coasts. There are active communities of members in India (Delhi & Mumbai) and the Middle East (Dubai). New groupings of members are growing worldwide, and we welcome new members from any location.

It’s important that G1 membership is the right fit for us both. The application process involves a third-party revenue certification, to ensure YPO requirements are met. Following that confirmations, interviews are held with two existing members, to answer questions and share experience. Find the complete process here.

Your G1 membership is what you make of it. If you choose to engage in our virtual communities, join a forum and attend events, you will have an amazing experience. If you are too busy to do those things, or prefer not to travel, G1 may not be the right fit for you.

For the FY2025/2026 year, the chapter’s annual dues are US$4500, with a one-time join fee of US$3500. Dues are prorated by the month in which you join, which is explained in the membership process.

All YPO members pay dues to both YPO International and a chapter.

Global One is a great fit for leaders who value life as a global citizen, with frequent travel across borders. Many have businesses that operate in different countries, or homes in multiple places. A willingness to travel and connect across cultures is a must.
